Internationally Recognized Artist Cash-Cooper to Debut New Exhibition, BLOODSUCKERS at USC Roski

Los Angeles, California - On April 5, 2024, in the midst of the contemporary art resurgence, Cash-Cooper, an artist with international appeal, will open an exhibition of his newest dynamic work, Bloodsuckers, in his Solo Thesis Show at USC Roski.

LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- Cash-Cooper is an MFA Art '24 candidate at USC, and will present BlodSuckers, an exhibition of paintings depicting stories of antagonism and inequity with an opening reception on April 5, from 6pm – 9pm PDT. The show will run from April 5 - April 13.

As the global art market continues to grow, Cash-Cooper, known for his dynamic artistry, is poised to make a significant impact in the fine art scene. His previous works provided a beatific view of a blissful dimension with "worship" as the key facet, however BloodSuckers is antithetical and offers views of violence. The new paintings, rendered in captivating colors and incredible inks are messages from the world within the world, showing graphic pictures of Vampiric ecstasy manifesting a dichotomy of exaltation or excruciation, as determined by subjective predilections.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, bred by New York City, he paired his pen and his roving disposition from a young age and cultivated a multidisciplinary background, encompassing pulp-comics, gouache painting, and screen printing. He has shown in Singapore and China, participated in several group shows including being selected for the MFAs of LA at the Good Mother Gallery in 2023, as well as The New Contemporaries Vol III, at the Residency Art Gallery. He has traveled extensively and accomplished a 4-year fellowship teaching art at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. He was subsequently included in the Princeton in Asia Program and while teaching art history at the Dalian University of Technology, in Dalian China, he partnered with the Dalian Junmei Art Gallery to produce his first show, Unseen Forces to massive success.

An Alum of the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Cash-Cooper was selected to make the first ever, and only permanent installation of a 184 sq. ft mural on the 1st floor of the renowned institution in 2018 titled Black Magic Blessed Children. Rageshwar Goldberg the Director of Alumni  & Parent Engagement of CalArts said, "his art, over time will still capture new eyes, yet distill CalArts to its traditional essence."
