Inner Strength Vibe Wins Award

PHILADELPHIA - EntSun -- Inner Strength, a 501(c)3 non profit educational organization, is proud to announce that they are the recipients of a Best Mobile App Award for October's Best New Mobile Apps for the teen mindfulness app entitled Inner Strength Vibe. The award winning app provides students with tools for self-discovery, self-regulation, stress reduction, calm, ease, as well as better understanding of the biology of the growing brain, cultural influences, and ways to embed self-care into their daily routine.

Inspired by their motivation to expand Inner Strength's classroom work with 15,000 teens in Philadelphia Public High Schools to teens everywhere, Vibe is designed to support teen mental health and anti-violence efforts and to help stem the impulsivity and anger that contributes to retribution and often escalated gun violence. Vibe is an educational app and is free to all students. It also contains carefully embedded tools to support students who have experienced complex traumas. The goal of Inner Strength Vibe is to make wellness tools freely accessible to often under-resourced communities. However, Vibe is designed for any and all teens to help them realize their higher potentials, strengthening their optimism, positivity, and confidence through self-regulation and self-care. The Inner Strength program was awarded a Philadelphia Social Innovators Award in 2019 for its work in Anti Violence. Vibe is the next iteration of this important work.

The Inner Strength Mission

Inner Strength has received the coveted designation from CASEL (Collaborative for Academic Social Emotional Learning) as an approved social-emotional learning (SEL) program. IS provides educational tools including mindful awareness, focus, and compassion techniques to improve psychological, behavioral, and physical health and well-being.

Inner Strength Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is to uplift the minds, hearts, and actions of youth through mindful, contemplative awareness and developmental thinking to help them realize their higher potentials.
