IEI Launches Itten-E315, a 31.5-Inch Six-Color ePaper Display

POMONA, Calif. - EntSun -- IEI Technology USA Corp. today announced the launch of the Itten-E315, a 31.5-inch six-color ePaper display designed for retail signage, corporate communications, and exhibition environments. Built on E Ink Spectra 6 technology, the display combines a paper-like, glare-free viewing experience with wireless, battery-powered operation, letting businesses deploy dynamic signage without the wiring, glare, and energy costs of traditional LCD displays.

Six-Color Display for High-Contrast Readability

The Itten-E315 delivers 2560 x 1440 resolution across a 31.5-inch display area, rendering content in blue, red, yellow, green, white, and black for high-contrast visuals readable even in direct sunlight. Its reflective, backlight-free panel provides a nearly 180-degree viewing angle for consistent legibility in bright environments. The display retains its image after power is removed, and content updates complete in about 18 seconds, enabling ultra-low power consumption between refreshes.

Slim, Flexible, Wireless Design

Housed in a 13.7mm aluminum bezel, the Itten-E315 supports wall-mounting, ceiling suspension, or desktop stands via a VESA 100 x 100mm pattern. It runs on a replaceable PP3 battery and supports USB-C, USB-OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 (LE), and optional Wi-Fi HaLow for wireless updates. An included IR remote and onboard controls allow both on-site and remote operation.

Cross-Platform Content Management

Content management runs through IEI's ePaper ecosystem, combining IdeaPairing X, ditherPrint, and IdeaRoomX Cloud Content Manager. Users can update displays on-site via USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth without internet, or manage multiple units remotely through public cloud, private cloud, or local NAS deployment, enabling centralized scheduling across large signage networks.

Sustainability Impact

Because ePaper consumes power only during refreshes, the Itten-E315 can reduce annual carbon emissions by up to 99% compared to traditional LCD signage. A 500-unit deployment is estimated to deliver a carbon reduction equivalent to planting approximately 246 trees, supporting corporate ESG initiatives.
