HomeCentris Healthcare, LLC Announces the Acquisition of Personal Touch Home Care of Baltimore, Inc
EntSun News/10769835
BALTIMORE - March 22, 2019 - EntSun -- HomeCentris Healthcare, LLC ("HomeCentris") a Maryland leader in providing home-based health care solutions, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Personal Touch Home Care of Baltimore, Inc. ("Personal-Touch Baltimore") the Maryland home health operations of Personal-Touch Home Care, a national skilled home health and non-skilled home care provider. Personal-Touch Baltimore has operated in Maryland for nearly 40 years. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and normal closing conditions. Personal-Touch Baltimore is licensed in six Maryland counties and has relationships with many institutional payors, both of which will significantly expand the reach of HomeCentris. HomeCentris is currently Maryland's largest independent Medicaid home care provider with four offices throughout the state. This acquisition will allow HomeCentris to layer in skilled home health services to many of its existing clients and new clients throughout central Maryland. HomeCentris welcomes the Personal-Touch Baltimore team and looks forward to integrating them into the HomeCentris family. Together, the combined company will be a strong player in the Maryland home care market.
"This is a perfect fit for HomeCentris both geographically and philosophically. We have demonstrated that our three-pronged continuum of long-term home care, skilled home health, and mobile primary care can proactively help keep clients safe and out of more expensive, institutional settings.", said Matthew Auman, CEO of HomeCentris. "With this larger skilled home health footprint and an expansion of our mobile primary care division, we will be able to offer our full continuum in much of central Maryland, empowering more clients to remain in the community, and lowering costs for our hospital partners. Our existing home health agency is a Five-Star rated operation and we look forward to working with Personal-Touch Baltimore to capitalize on their long history of quality outcomes."
