Home Sweet Home: National Adoption Awareness Month Event

VENTURA, Calif. - EntSun -- There's no place like a permanent home, and the moment a foster child finds their own is a life-changing experience. Our County. Our Kids., a program of the Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services, is excited to celebrate the adoption of local youth at their Adoption Awareness Event on November 20^th.

The event starts at 1 p.m. and will be hosted at the Santa Maria Juvenile Court House. Light appetizers and beverages will be available along with fun activities for children.

"Knowing they have a safe and welcoming home as we enter this holiday season is a heartwarming feeling for all of us at Our County. Our Kids."
