Governor Polis Marks Dobbs Anniversary: While Other States Restrict Healthcare Colorado Strengthens Access

- Abortion Medication Access on College Campuses (HB26-1335): This law requires public and private higher education institutions with student health centers to provide on-site abortion medication by 2026.

- Coverage for Pregnancy-Related Services (SB25-183): This law implements Amendment 79 and protects the right to an abortion in Colorado's constitution by 2025.

- Legally Protected Health-Care Activity Protections (SB25-129): This law enhances protections for abortion and gender-affirming care by 2025.

- Protections for Accessing Reproductive Health Care (SB23-188): This law protects healthcare providers from discrimination and adverse actions for providing or assisting in the provision of legal healthcare in Colorado by 2023.

- Increasing Access to Reproductive Health Care (SB23-189): This law expands access to reproductive health care services in both commercial insurance and Medicaid by 2023.
