DENVER ~ In a statement released tonight, Governor Jared Polis expressed his congratulations to the Democratic and Republican nominees for various state positions. These include Phil Weiser and an undecided GOP candidate for Governor, Amanda Gonzalez and James Wiley for Secretary of State, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Grantham for State Treasurer, and Jena Griswold and Michael J. Allen for Attorney General.
Governor Polis began by thanking the voters of Colorado, regardless of their political affiliation, for participating in the primary elections. He emphasized the importance of voter participation in strengthening democracy and commended those who took the time to make their voices heard.
