Gospel/Hip-Hop's Vy Moon Releases New Single, "Get It Together", With Son, Young Dal

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - EntSun -- Recording artist Vy Moon, whose fusion of Gospel, Christian and hip-hop genres resulted in edgy works with powerful messages of faith and glory unveils his new single, "Get It Together".

Produced by SM Tracks and released on Vy's label, He Did It LLC, "Get It Together" features his son, grade school-age Young Dal. Vy Moon hopes that his message of positive perseverance will resonate with listeners.

"The inspiration for 'Get It Together' came to me initially while having dinner with my family," said Vy. "While recording the verses, my seven year old son Dallas – I call him Young Dal – jumped in and rapped 'thank you, Jesus, for giving me this day and this world…' Now mind you, I didn't have anything written for that part of the song – I was just going to leave it blank. But Dal's rap came in right on time so we went ahead and recorded the tune right there."

"There are so many burdens that people are enduring on a global scale right now, from the pandemic to social issues," Vy elaborates. "From a spiritual standpoint, I believe that we need to step back, evaluate what really matters in life and figure out our 'why" in the world. Once that happens then we can all 'get it together' and move forward in life."

Vy Moon resides in Montgomery, AL with his wife, Brittany, and their four children. A former production manager and assistant program director at WVAS-FM, Moon worked as a youth pastor in his local parish, Rivers Edge Church. Vy is committed to teaching the importance of God's word.
