EntSun News/10809962
The Goonies Meets Harry Potter in this fun middle-grade mystery adventure series!
LIVONIA, Mich. - EntSun -- The Dinswood Chronicles by Ellen Alexander is a fresh and fun mystery adventure series featuring Emma Higsby and her friends who attend Dinswood Academy. Featuring exciting adventures and mysteries, this middle-grade series will appeal to readers 10+.
"My inspiration for the series comes from all of the great mysteries I read when I was a young girl," says Ellen Alexander. "My favorites were Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden, and I've created a modern take on these series in the Dinswood Chronicles."
Emma and the gang are back in their next adventure at Dinswood Academy and must search for a group of missing statues to solve an age-old legend in The Missing Mortals.
While digging the foundation for Dinswood Academy's new gymnasium, a missing sculpture is discovered. Convinced the statue is really part of the missing mortals thought to be lost in 1722, Lord Dinswood assigns Emma and her friends the task of finding them.
