From sketches to success: Logan Mascarenhas on his origins

GILBERT, Ariz. - EntSun -- Teenage entrepreneur, podcaster, author, and sports official Logan Mascarenhas today pulled back the curtain on his entrepreneurial journey, revealing that his passion for building brands began long before his current ventures, The Logan Mascarenhas Show and TeenCapital.

Long before entering the Crunchbase Global Top 100 Person Rank, Mascarenhas's first official foray into the business world took place in a sixth-grade classroom with the launch of his very first venture: "The Red Flower Company."

A dedicated art business, the company specialized in original drawings created by Mascarenhas himself. While the enterprise ultimately generated zero dollars in revenue, it served as the critical testing ground for the young founder's business instinct. Rather than focusing purely on the product, a 10- or 11-year-old Mascarenhas taught himself how to design custom business cards and independently build and launch a fully functional website for the brand.

"We didn't make any money from it, but I drew up business cards and made a whole website and all that," said Logan, reflecting on the behind-the-scenes reality of his early ambition. "It proves that the drive and passion to create, brand, and build platforms was there right from the very start. I was completely in love with the process of building from scratch and putting in that raw sweat equity."

The early foundation laid by The Red Flower Company highlights a direct line to Mascarenhas's current success. Today, he channels that same self-taught execution into hosting The Logan Mascarenhas Show, authoring youth-focused literature, leading the youth financial literacy initiative TeenCapital, and officiating high-level competitive soccer matches, including MLS NEXT. For Mascarenhas, the sixth-grade "failure" was actually his first major proof of concept: that he was in love with the process of building from scratch, with sweat equity.
