FPI promotes Trent Schield to vice president of national accounts

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - EntSun -- Flexible Plan Investments Ltd. (FPI), a leading provider of dynamic, risk-managed investment solutions, announced that industry veteran Trent Schield has been promoted to vice president of national accounts. In addition to his role as the product specialist for FPI's Market Leaders investment strategies, Schield will head the company's national accounts initiatives; drive business-development efforts; and help align relationship management, sales, and marketing efforts to meet the company's business goals.

Schield will be responsible for leading business development with strategic partners and key stakeholders at registered investment advisers; turnkey asset management programs; variable annuity firms; and independent, national, and regional broker-dealers. He will be responsible for retaining, managing, and growing existing relationships, while discovering new opportunities for the company.

Schield has served as regional vice president at multiple national investment firms and has been educating financial advisers on the principles of risk-managed investment strategies for nearly 17 years.
