FORT MYERS, Fla. - EntSun -- Fort Myers Brewing Company is hosting a community fundraiser at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15 to benefit the family of the late Adyn Pickett, a Cape Coral boy who recently passed after a five-year battle with cancer.
The #AdynStrong Fundraiser will feature food trucks, drinks, live music and a silent auction, with a goal of raising money to help the Pickett family cover medical bills and funeral expenses. Food trucks Doggone Organic, King's Tacos & Burritos and Mobstah Lobstah will be on-site throughout the day and live music by High Tide will begin at 7 p.m. Additional food trucks and music may be announced.
In addition to a silent auction featuring dozens of items, Fort Myers Brewing is also raffling off five Adyn Strong six-packs, a German Pilsner brewed in Adyn's honor. Donations of $20 are requested for a raffle ticket, and one winner will be selected per six-pack. Tickets can be purchased at the taproom or online here. Winners will be announced during the event on Saturday and contacted for pickup at the taproom.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Pickett family.
