FKJ Art Gallery to Host Showing for Landscape Artist Donna F. McGee

WEST MONROE, La. - EntSun -- The FJK Art Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of works featuring landscape artist Donna F. McGee on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, at 410 E. 6th, West Monroe, Louisiana, 71291.

McGee's 'en plein air' approach (in the open air) allows her to paint light and its changing, ephemeral qualities.

Donna F. McGee has over 40 years of experience working in oil, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media painting. She has taught drawing, design, and painting (beginning – advanced) at the university level for twenty-five years.  She has taught private lessons and workshops for much of her adult life.  Donna has a Master of Fine Arts in Studio - Painting and Drawing, from Louisiana Tech University. Her acrylic, watercolor, and oil paintings have been included in numerous international, national, and regional juried exhibitions, including the Hilton Head Arts League, Taos Watercolor Society, Louisiana Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society, Texas Friends and Neighbors, and Hoover Watercolor Society exhibitions. Her works have also been featured in numerous solo exhibitions and are included in public and private collections.
