Durable Greenbed and Oregon Farm to School – School Garden Network Team Up for Giveaway

CORVALLIS, Ore. - EntSun -- In a significant boost to sustainable gardening and education, Durable GreenBed is pleased to announce the culmination of a successful collaboration with Oregon Farm to School and School Garden Network (OFSSGN). This February, during the 2024 OFSSGN Conference, Durable GreenBed sponsored a giveaway, awarding three of their premier raised garden beds to Seed to Table.

Seed to Table is a valued community organization dedicated to garden-based education. Its mission is to provide equitable access to fresh, nourishing foods and opportunities to engage positively with farm-fresh foods while promoting a sustainable food system. Collectively, all three organizations are working towards the same outcome - to create a more empowered gardening community.

The giveaway included three Full Garden Bed Kits: two 4x8x1 garden beds and one 4x8x2 bed. This giveaway was equivalent to nearly $2,500. These beds, made from recycled wood and concrete composite, are designed to last for several decades, providing a durable and sustainable solution for community gardening efforts.
