DropSnaps Launches QR Code Photo Sharing for Weddings and Events, with No App or Account for Guests
EntSun News/11104508
Guests scan a QR code to share photos and videos from their phone's browser, with no app or account. Uploads appear on a live wall and TV slideshow, and organizers keep every original. Free for small gatherings; paid plans from £45 per event.
STOKE-ON-TRENT, U.K. - EntSun -- DropSnaps, a new photo-sharing service from Staffordshire-based Redouble Digital Limited, has launched to help couples and event organizers collect every photo and video their guests take, without asking anyone to download an app or create an account.
Guests scan a QR code on a table card or sign at the venue and add photos and videos straight from their phone's web browser. Uploads appear on a live wall and a TV slideshow as they arrive, and the organizer keeps every original in full quality.
DropSnaps was built for the moment after a wedding when the best pictures are spread across dozens of guests' phones and group chats. Instead, the couple gets them all in one place.

"The photographer captures the day, but guests capture the moments in between, and those pictures usually end up scattered across dozens of phones," said a DropSnaps spokesperson. "We wanted sharing them to be as easy as pointing a camera at a QR code, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for."
Key features:
- No app and no account for guests, just a phone's web browser
- A live wall and TV slideshow that update as photos arrive
- Moment tags such as "First dance" and "Cutting the cake", with an album for each
- A guest book where guests leave messages with photos, plus reactions and comments
- Privacy controls: an optional PIN, approve-before-showing, and a report button on everything shared
- Every original in one zip file, and the guest book as text or a spreadsheet
Simple pricing, per event
DropSnaps is free for a small gathering, with up to 50 photos kept for 30 days. For weddings and bigger events, Standard costs £45 and Premium £99, one payment per event with VAT included and no subscription. Both include unlimited photos and videos within 100 GB or 250 GB of storage, kept for 12 months after the event.

It also suits birthdays, parties, work events, reunions and funerals. See a live demo of a sample wedding at https://dropsnaps.com/e/demo or create a free event at https://dropsnaps.com
