Disaster musical runs March 29 to April 14, Presley Project is April 7
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - March 19, 2019 - EntSun -- The Desert Foothills Theater (DFT) in North Scottsdale announces performances of the hit musical, "Disaster", from March 29 to April 14 and a one-night performance of Chance Tinder in "Project Elvis."
Tia Wooley, managing director of the Desert Foothills Theater, is also directing the "Disaster" musical. "This show features nearly every disaster movie that came out during the 70's along with some great 70's music, such as "Sky High", "Knock on Wood", "Saturday Night", "When will I be Loved", "Hot Stuff", "Hooked on a Feeling", "I am Woman"…and so many more," explains Wooley. "Our cast members come from all over the Greater Scottsdale Area."

Production Stage Manager is Kelly Weigel, running rehearsals as Assistant Stage Manager is Bronte Bowling, 70s costuming is being done by Cedric Knuth, ALL 70's hair and make-up is being done by Jillian Eckmann, wild props (sharks, piranhas, snakes, rats, shag carpeting and more) are being created by Steve Rioux, the many lighting effects are handled by Designer Drake Dole, and the fun sound effects of tidal waves, raging fires, earthquakes and more are being created by Designer James Bessinas.

Presley Project
Chance Tinder is a multi-award winning Elvis Presley Tribute Artist. He has been a part of the Elvis Presley phenomenon since the late 1980s when he was first discovered in Southern California by one of the Righteous Brothers. Tickets for his show on April 7, 2 p.m., are $28 and can be purchased online at dfhteater.org
Both productions take place at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center at 33606 N. 60th St, Scottsdale. Parking is free.
