Derrick spotted by MPC Models - read his remarkable story her

TAMPA, Fla. - EntSun -- Derrick's grandmother raising her grandson due to Derricks birth mother wasn't really ready for him.  Derrick grandmother stepped in and took over raising Derrick at just three days old.
At an early age of three Derrick grew ill at the young age of 3 getting fever's every week.
He was taken to the children hospital in Atlanta and was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, which is cancer.  A solid tumor that was growing over his adrenal glands.
above his kidneys.  Once diagnosed, the process started, it was small enough that they were able to remove the entire tumor. This was a long journey that Derrick went through.

A series of chemo treatments for over a year as well as they extracted some bone marrow to freeze.  Once the chemo treatments were
completed his bone marrow would be ready for him.  Derrick is now cancer free and he is still taking his pills to maintain his health.  His grandmother, as we call his mother now says Derrick was healed through God.  Derrick is signed with MPC Models International
as MPC funded a large part of him in becoming a talent.  Derricks words "I am healthy do to the power of Jesus."
Derricks grandmother said The Make a Wish Foundation has help them with their wonderful support system as well as going through this incredible process of being a healthy.
