Countryside commemorates 40 years with time capsule ceremony and prom night celebration

NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- Countryside Golf & Country Club, a private, resident-owned golf community in Naples, recently commemorated 40 years in operation and a successful first season in its newly renovated $15 million clubhouse during an end-of-season party held on Saturday, April 18.

The event included a special ceremony to bury a commemorative time capsule containing a community-curated selection of historical items. During the program, Countryside General Manager and COO Joe Smith recognized the community's legacy and growth throughout the past four decades – as well as the power of improvement.

More than 120 residents participated in the Prom Night-themed celebration, cheering as members Steven and Kathleen Stathis were crowned as prom king and queen. Attendees also enjoyed a lively evening of dancing and dining, with an array of display stations and decadent desserts by Countryside Executive Chef Jay Herman.
