THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - EntSun -- Nikki Lane, a leading voice in modern outlaw country, will headline the 5th Annual Down the Rabbit Hole Craft Beer & Music Charity Festival on Saturday, June 20, in Thousand Oaks. The festival takes place from noon to 9:30 p.m. in the south parking lot of The Oaks Mall, across from Pedals & Pints Brewing Company.
Known as the "First Lady of Outlaw Country," Lane has built her reputation on gritty, road-worn songs including "Highway Queen," "Breaking Up Slowly," "A Lesson in Leavin'," "Right Time" and "First High."
Seven additional acts will perform on two stages throughout the day. Joining Lane on the bill are:
--Uncle Lucius, always a top draw, the band is known for its blend of roots rock and roll, country, blue and soul, and since adding heavyweights Doug Strahan (guitar) and Drew Scherger (bass), it's expanded its musical palette even further;
--Jake Kohn, known for his deep voice and narrative-driven songs; it's what sets him apart in the Americana and roots music scene;

--Rob Leines, a Detroit-born singer offering gritty, soul-soaked Americana with a rock and roll edge and an electrifying stage presence;
--Emily Nenni, a California native and rising voice in modern honky-tonk who blends classic country sounds;
--Ted Z and the Wranglers, a Southern California band known for its unique blend of Americana, rockabilly, and roots rock music;
--Van Allen Twins, who craft a distinctive sound they call "Blues Grass," combining elements of blues, bluegrass, country, folk and roots music; and
--Candy Lover, stage name for Puerto Rican-born artist Angelica Torres, who merges English and Spanish vocals with a versatile, genre-crossing sound.
The bands perform from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Gates open at noon with craft beer tasting from local and regional craft breweries and wine producers. The festival includes a curated artisan vendor marketplace, a Dave & Buster's Fun Zone, and local food trucks.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ventura County Fire Department's Widows, Orphans & Assistance Fund as well as The Westlake Village Rotary charitable programs.
