Hutchinson is an unabashed, unyielding, and unapologetic progressive in his slash and burn opinions on the issues. However, he is far from an orthodox toe the line progressive. He will infuriate progressives at times in skewering some of their positions on everything from race and racism to their attacks on the Democratic Party leadership.
