Confluent Platform is a powerful and flexible event streaming platform that can be leveraged in new development efforts or easily layered into existing applications.  During a recent project following the launch of The Deutsche Boerse's MiFID II APA, Risk Focus restructured the existing message-based architecture to include Confluent, increasing throughput 20x with minimal increase in hardware costs.  In fewer than four months, the team conducted their development and scalability testing in the cloud and then deployed the platform into Deutsche Boerse's existing data centers.
