Columbia Police arrest suspect for disturbance with a weapon

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon on May 8th at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of South Providence Road. According to the victim, Ramelus Bradley, a 19-year-old resident of Columbia, had assaulted her and threatened her with a weapon at her residence and at a University of Missouri parking lot.

The victim also informed police that Bradley was inside her residence with her 2-year-old child. In order to ensure the safety of the child, police officers carefully removed the child from the residence without incident. However, upon further investigation, it was discovered that Bradley was not inside.

Working together with University of Missouri Police officers, Columbia Police were able to locate Bradley in the 2500 block of Quail Drive. He was subsequently arrested on charges of two counts of fourth-degree domestic assault. Additionally, University of Missouri Police charged Bradley with second-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.
