Charitable cocktail series to benefit Louisville Slugger Warriors in September

NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- Starting Sept. 1, Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples' Cocktails for a Cause benefit series will benefit the Louisville Slugger Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team.

The Warriors are a highly competitive nonprofit baseball team made up of U.S. Military veterans, active-duty personnel, wounded warriors and current and former college baseball players navigating life with limb differences, such as full and partial limb loss, deformities and more.

Through its Cocktails for a Cause series, Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples donates proceeds from its specialty cocktail to a nonprofit organization. September's specialty drink is the Coco Cabana. Available at 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill and priced at $13, the Coco Cabana is crafted with Parrot Bay coconut rum, melon liqueur, and pineapple and cranberry juices. Each purchased cocktail directly supports the Louisville Slugger Warriors.

Guests can join in on a competitive "Shake of the Day" game to benefit the Louisville Slugger Warriors as well. Once per day, guests can donate $1 to roll a set of five dice three times. There are two ways to win: a full house (three of a kind and a pair) wins a Who's to Blame Margarita, a draft beer or a glass of house wine. Five of a kind wins a free appetizer.
