Celebrate Jimmy Buffett Day at Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples Sept. 4-7

NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- This Labor Day weekend, Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples invites guests and locals to keep the party going all weekend long in honor of Jimmy Buffett Day and its accompanying Day of Service.
This year, Compass Naples' Day of Service will benefit the Louisville Slugger Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team.
The weekend kicks off Friday, Sept. 4, with Margaritaville's Day of Service, silent auction bidding, 50/50 raffle ticket sales and cornhole tournament registration. The silent auction and 50/50 raffle will continue through Sunday, Sept. 6.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, guests can enjoy live music all day long at 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. At 11 a.m., baseball fans are invited to a book signing featuring Curtis Pride, former MLB player and current coach of the Louisville Slugger Warriors.
Pride will be signing copies of his memoir, "I Felt the Cheers: The Remarkable Silent Life of Curtis Pride," and guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the Louisville Slugger Warriors and their mission. At 3 p.m., guests can compete in a cornhole tournament hosted by David Van Sleet, general manager for the Louisville Slugger Warriors, and Colton DeRocher, outfielder for the Louisville Slugger Warriors.

On Saturday, proceeds from the hotel's "Shake of the Day" game will benefit the Warriors. Once per day, guests can donate $1 to roll a set of five dice three times for a chance to win a free drink or appetizer.
Friday through Sunday, avian appreciators can enjoy "Pictures with Parrots" with resident birds from the Bird Gardens of Naples. The meet-and-greets will be at 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 5-6.
Weekend festivities conclude on Sunday with live music from Head Above Water and the announcements of the silent auction and 50/50 raffle winners. Prizes include a Compass Naples stay, a Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach stay, a Margaritaville at Sea cruise, a Fins Up! Beach Club cabana rental, Louisville Sluggers Warriors memorabilia and more.
Compass Naples will also offer a "Keep the Party Going" lodging package, which offers 20% off resort stays of two nights or more. For each night booked, $5 will be donated to the Louisville Slugger Warriors. As part of the charitable offering, guests participating in the Keep the Party Going package will receive a complimentary special edition Jimmy Buffett cup. The package is available for booking through Sept. 26 and applies to stays of two nights or more through Sept. 27.
