CAAFD Reveals Helena Bajaj Larsen as the Next Rockstar Designer for New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK - Aug. 15, 2018 - EntSun -- The Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers (CAAFD) in collaboration with iFashion Network is thrilled to announce Helena Bajaja-Larsen as one of the noteworthy unique emerging designers scheduled for this season's New York Fashion Week showcase. Helena Bajaja-Larsen is one of many of the featured designers for the upcoming S/S 2019 NYFW, taking place on the IMG platforms from September 6th through the 15th, 2018.

Helena Bajaj-Larsen is part of a group of designers who have been hand picked by CAAFD for a series of designer showcases during fashion weekthrough a rigorous review process. CAAFD continues to empower and promote some of the most talented emerging designers and brands that are worth keeping an eye out for. CAAFD along with other seasonal corporate partners partially sponsor each designer, giving them an exclusive platform on the fashion world stage.

Designer Helena Bajaj-Larsen is a well cultured and creative artisan that pulls from her unique past to create beautiful fashion forward pieces. Being raised in Paris until she was 18, Bajaj-Larsen attended Parsons School of Design where she focused on textile design. Helena became extremely knowledgeable in textiles specific to her Indian culture, and uses this as inspiration to form a breathtaking collections using unique fabrics, sourced from Khadi shops in India, and amazing jewelry pieces.
