Bubbly Brown Sugar, Web Series Launches Kickstarter Campaign

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - EntSun -- Bubbly Brown Sugar, which is gearing up to raising funds for post-production through Kickstarter (https://www.bubblybrownsugarseries.com/kickstarter), tells the story of two soulmates meeting in their dreams and what they each experience in real life until fate brings them together. The production explores what happens at the intersection of faith, spirituality, and sexuality.  The Kickstarter campaign will officially launch Tuesday, October 22^nd with a goal of $3,500 to finish post-production for the first season.

"Bubbly Brown Sugar is more than entertainment; it's a project that addresses the power of human connection that oftentimes transcends space and time. It tackles real relationship issues: domestic violence, sickness, isolationism, forgiveness and most importantly, true love," says creator Tamala Baldwin. "I was interested in the dichotomy of realizing your heart's desire and the process involved in actually attaining it. There's something very poignant and compelling about the process involved in becoming a master of oneself and intentionally manifesting reality. It comes with so much sacrifice and will. After thinking on this, I realized that the ultimate expression of conscious creation would be for love. Thus, the idea of Bubbly Brown Sugar was born."

In Bubbly Brown Sugar, lifestyle blogger and entrepreneur Jewel Patterson has always had psychic dreams that often times came true as a child. When she accepts the proposal for marriage from her longtime sweetheart, Gabriel Hamilton, her psychic dreams come back with such intensity, it throws her life upside down. Is she connecting with a man, she doesn't know in real life?

"We're asking for $3,500, which is enough to finish Post-production costs at a bare minimum," said Baldwin, "but we're hoping to achieve some of our stretch goals so we can release the best product possible."

Bubbly Brown Sugar premiered the first two episodes at film festivals across the country this summer, where they have received 5 awards for Best Series.

"Our team has worked tremendously hard this year with no other intention than to create something special for fans of this buzzing project. We really hope they like what they see and appreciate the quality of what we can bring to the table. And we're only getting started," says the series Co-Director and Editor, LaVarro Jones.
