Brushwood Media Group Presents "Awaken with Tim & Shannon"

ATLANTA - EntSun -- Brushwood Media Group announces their hit TV show, "Awaken with Tim & Shannon". Currently based in Atlanta, the two-and-a-half-hour weekday morning program features co-hosts Tim Ray, the "voice of reason"; and Shannon McVey, who provides the fun factor. Together, their chemistry is undeniable and it has gained them a large, loyal fan base.

"Awaken with Tim & Shannon" is not your typical TV talk show. "I don't see anyone else out there doing anything like this," says Ray. "We talk about the hot topics every day, but we have a different perspective when we look at them. We don't always go the route of political correctness or what we think people want to hear. The show is very real and people respect that authenticity."

"But the show is still a lot of fun. I can't ever let things get too serious for very long. It's our job to wake people up. People say a lot of things about our show … but no one ever says it's boring!" says McVey, a former top-rated morning DJ and TV personality in New Mexico.

Among the show's many strong points is its interactivity with fans. Ray and McVey take phone calls and Facebook messages throughout each program, selecting the best ones for use on the air. "Awaken with Tim & Shannon" also includes news segments and discussions with noteworthy guests.

"People flock to our show because it fills a void. People aren't getting the truth and that's exactly what we provide," Ray said. "We have a sort of brother-sister relationship, meaning we fight a lot … but it's always in good fun and it's always genuine."

"We hear from fans almost every single day that they love the chemistry between the two of us. We are both energetic, which you have to be when you host a morning show," says Mc Vey. "One fan wrote in to tell us she feels like she's had seven cups of coffee after watching us."

Some of the show's most interesting and notable guests to date include former CNN and CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson, Ted Bundy survivor Kathy Kleiner, adult film star Dani Daniels, Judy Mikovits, Billy Carson, John Paul Rice, Dannion Brinkley, and the "Real Dirty John" mother and daughter duo, Debra and Terra Newell.
