Breathwork Certification in Atlanta, Georgia: The Only Southeast Training on the 2027 Calendar

ATLANTA - EntSun -- Liquid Breathwork has set its Breathwork Certification in Atlanta, Georgia for Friday through Sunday, March 19 to 21, 2027. Atlanta is the only Southeast city on the practice's 2027 calendar, so for anyone from Nashville down to Miami, this is the closest in-person training of the year.

"We picked Atlanta because it's the hub of the Southeast," said Ryan McBurney, who founded Liquid Breathwork with Shelby Von Oepen. "Birmingham, Chattanooga, Charlotte and North Florida are all within a day's drive, and from the rest of Florida it's a short flight into ATL. Come in Thursday, settle in, and show up rested on Friday."

That rest matters, because March in Atlanta is pollen season. Tree pollen peaks late in the month, and three days of deep breathing through a stuffed nose is no fun, so pack your allergy medicine if it gets you. Bring a rain shell too.

Ryan and Shelby teach all three days as a team. He has guided Breathwork since 2018. She spent fourteen years as a registered nurse, and that background adds a layer of clinical safety. Their method is surrender-based and built around the sigh of relief, with no screaming and no forced catharsis. Students learn to pace a session, read a room and screen for who should not breathe this way, then guide real people while the two of them watch and give notes. Registered Yoga Teachers can log the training toward Yoga Alliance continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway.

Geoffrey Bishop, who took the training, put it simply on Google: "If you are interested in becoming certified in Liquid Breathwork, this is the place to go!"

Days start at 9 a.m. (arrive at 8:45) and end at 6 p.m., with snacks provided. The room holds 20. No venue is signed yet, so we are not naming a neighborhood, and enrolled students get the address by email once it is. The first five seats are $1,997 and the rest are $2,497. A $250 deposit holds a seat, and payment plans are available. Your deposit transfers to another training date. Refunds are handled case by case.
