Black Golfers Weekend Tees Off in Washington, D.C. – Celebrating Community, Sports & Culture

WASHINGTON - EntSun -- Golf, football, and community spirit will come together at the highly anticipated Black Golfers Weekend, hosted by founder Amy Williams. Taking place September 26–28, 2025, this dynamic three-day celebration invites sports lovers, families, and professionals to experience the perfect blend of culture, connection, and competition at some of the area's most iconic venues.

"Black Golfers Weekend was created to open doors, foster relationships, and celebrate excellence through the game of golf," said founder Amy Williams. "This year's event is all about community, inclusion, and having fun while supporting the next generation of players."

Saturday, September 27 – Kids Pro Swing Clinic
Langston Golf Course | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This free youth clinic is designed to introduce kids to the fundamentals of golf. Led by seasoned pros, the session is perfect for beginners and aspiring stars eager to sharpen their swings.

Giving Back, A Special Collaboration, Celebrating HBCU Legacy
Black Golfers Weekend is proud to announce a special collaboration with The Bison Impact
Russ Green, a former classmate of Amy Williams, founded the group HBCU Golf. The two
reconnected when Amy hosted a Golf All-Class Reunion at Langston Golf Course, sparking a shared commitment to expand opportunities for HBCU students and alumni in the game of golf. This partnership honors giving back to the HBCU unity in sports and tradition, and elevates new talent that inspires greater representation across the sport.

Hosted at the historic Langston Golf Course (2600 Benning Rd. NE, Washington, DC 20002), Black Golfers Weekend will bring together athletes, business professionals, and families for an unforgettable experience. From building community to inspiring the next generation of players, the event reflects Amy Williams' vision of expanding access to golf and fostering connections across industries.
