Bernadette van der Boom-Bebb BSC, MACP, CCC, Awarded National Bariatric Board Certification

VICTORIA, British Columbia - EntSun -- Bernadette van-der Boom-Bebb, BSC, MACP, CCC, a mental health professional from British Columbia, Canada, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Bernadette's professional education and training in biochemistry/microbiology/chemistry led to a two-decade long career in the pharmaceutical industry. Her experience includes preclinical and clinical trial medication research. While working with psychiatrists she was inspired and realized that she wanted to pursue a mental health career. She returned to graduate school and completed a master's Psychology Program at Yorkville University in Canada and at the same time completed a fellowship with the American Association of Bariatric counselor.
