Automation Intellect Closes a Master Services Agreement with Mann+Hummel

New partnership with Mann+Hummel includes the rollout of Automation Intellect to 2 complete plants
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - EntSun -- Automation Intellect, a SaaS company that provides machine performance analytics to manufacturing companies, is excited to announce it has closed a new Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Mann+Hummel. This agreement includes standardized pricing that allows Mann+Hummel to efficiently roll out new implementations of software across their organization. The initial scope of work includes 2 complete plant installations.
Mann+Hummel is the largest manufacturer of filter components in the world. The company has 19 plants in North America, and 63 plants worldwide. Headquartered in Ludwigsburg, Germany, Mann + Hummel delivers almost $4B in sales annually.
Automation Intellect was selected after a month long process that included a head to head pilot against a product produced by Altizon, a Gartner recognized IIOT software company. The pilot included the complete implementation on one of their filter lines. This line consisted of 15 individual machines, a manual entry tablet, and a real-time, line view screen. This head to head win was due to Automation Intellect's visualization and analytic capability, coupled with their overall speed to value. During the 30 day pilot, Automation Intellect identified downtime opportunities equivalent to over 1M parts per year.

"The IIoT marketplace can often seem crowded with hyperbolic claims of a magical digital future, but hard work is required to get there on a smart and sustainable path," said Kurt Sharbaugh, Manager, Industrial Digitalization at Mann + Hummel. "Standing apart in this field of solution providers, Automation Intellect distinguished itself by demonstrating value to our company early on in our partnership, and continues to this day - always driving to capture and visualize our business processes and manufacturing performance in ways that bring us critical insights as to where and how we can improve. Their solution is both solid and elegant, built from the ground up by people who know the industry and are committed to meaningful results. They are responsive to our feedback and needs, and a genuine pleasure to work with as professionals."
Automation Intellect provides an out of the box solution that allows manufacturing companies to get up and running quickly, delivering immediate value, while providing expansive capabilities to support the future goals of their organization.
"Our ability to show how Automation Intellect delivers real results and value to customers was critical to winning the Mann+Hummel deal," said Brad DeMarco, CEO of Automation Intellect. "Our platform is focused on improvements, and providing the quickest time to value in the market."
