BOSTON, June 11, 2024 ~ On April 18th, 2024, Audrey Daum, Senior Vice President of Investments at Moors & Cabot Boston, delivered a presentation titled "Building Your Personal Future" to a diverse audience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The event was hosted by the MIT Equal Pay Working Group and Career Advising and Professional Development, in collaboration with AMITA.
Daum's presentation focused on the importance of financial literacy across all levels of education and industries. As April is Financial Literacy Month, her session was timely and relevant. She covered various topics such as credit management, asset allocation, and savings strategies.
Daum is a strong advocate for financial literacy and has even authored a children's book on the subject called "The Little Floofs' Book of Money". She has also presented on this topic at both large and small companies. With extensive experience in the financial sector, Daum previously held positions at Oppenheimer, Merrill Lynch, and Citibank.

As a Wealth Manager, Daum works closely with individuals and small business owners to provide guidance on portfolio management, retirement planning, education planning, estate planning, and generational wealth building.
Daum is an alumna of MIT Sloan School of Management where she studied Finance and Corporate Strategy. She remains an active member of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association as Chair of Women's Initiatives and Co-Chair of the Resilience Series.
The event at MIT was a record-breaking success with a high turnout from graduating undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumnae women. It also welcomed those who identify as women to attend. The collaboration between different organizations highlights the importance placed on promoting financial literacy among all individuals.
