Annapolis Royal Pride Festivities Begin With Ukraine Fundraising Event Featuring Lucie Blue Tremblay

ANNAPOLIS ROYAL, Nova Scotia - EntSun -- Annapolis Royal Pride will kick-off festivities with a LGBTQ+ Ukraine Fundraising Event in Partnership with Lucie Blue Tremblay on Sunday July 3 at 3pm at the Oqwa'titek "O" Amphitheatre.

All proceeds from and donations collected at the event will go to Insight Ukraine & Kyiv Pride

Lucie Blue Tremblay is one of Canada's great voices and songwriters, bringing her bilingual Canadian heritage to life in songs that celebrate love, strength, truth, peace and honour.

Annapolis Royal Pride Chairperson Niko Steenken celebrates the event saying, "We hope everyone joins us for a great time with some amazing music to support our LGBTQ+ family in Ukraine. Lucie Blue Tremblay was so generous helping to support this amazing cause. We are showing how much a small town event can do to support those in need even if they are a distance away."

Annapolis Royal Pride runs from July 3-July 9 with festivities scheduled daily including the town's Pride Parade on July 9 from 1:15-2:15 PM on historic St George St which is expected to be the biggest yet, attracting record numbers.
