An Active Shooter Incident Can Happen Anywhere – Are You Prepared?

CHICO, Calif. - EntSun -- "Run, hide, fight – these are crucial for your physical safety during an active shooter event. But what about your emotional and psychological well-being?" says Heidi Ann Ferguson. "My training stands out because it's about empowering people and also focuses on trauma prevention. I teach not only the physical strategies of running, hiding, and fighting but also how to best protect the emotional and psychological mind."

Active Shooter Preparedness Trainings

Heidi Ann Ferguson, an Active Shooter Preparedness trainer, offers two types of training: live online Zoom classes for the general public and on-site, workplace-specific sessions for employees. These trainings are unique because they provide a safe, educational environment without using graphic or distressing content, focusing instead on empowering participants to develop an effective preparedness plan.
