VOD Network Will Feature African-American History Programming
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Nov. 14, 2016 - EntSun -- American Legacy today announced a GoFundMe campaign as it prepares to launch the American LegacyXL video on demand (VOD) network. The ALXL VOD network will include original programming and acquired content compatible with American Legacy's mission of celebrating African-American history and culture. The network will also include classic black films and historical documentaries. In addition, subscribers to the ALXL VOD network will have access to American Legacy's digital archives to read back issues and will receive American Legacy's monthly e-newsletter. Consumers are encouraged to check with their local cable television operator regarding the availability of the ALXL VOD network.
In making the announcement, Rodney J. Reynolds, American Legacy's founder, stated, "As crowd funding has become a popular method of fundraising, we thought with a readership of over 2 million it was only fitting that we develop an effort to reach our readers and ask for their support with launching the ALXL VOD network."
