American Children's Book Author Ventures into the Adult Horror Genre
EntSun News/10903450
NEW YORK - EntSun -- Dorenda W. Madkins has been working on a novel that her fans have been anticipating. "HIM", a horror novel that Madkins has been working on for the past few years, is in the final stages of completion. The children's book author has decided to put more of a focus on entertaining her adult fanbase, as well as releasing books that will appeal to the film industry.
"I've always been a fanatic of horror/thriller movies and want to release books that reflects the passion that I have inside for such genres. I started promoting "HIM" to the film industry a few years back and it gained a pleasant amount of interest from movie producers in various countries. My plan is to release "HIM" as a novel first, and then work with a movie producer to turn the novel into a film. In the past, I could not decide if I wanted to release a book or go straight into writing a screenplay, but I decided to do both," Madkins explained.
