After Asheville's Record Rain, KayeDinero Drops "Hathor-Sekhmet" and Marks Copyright Milestone

The Detroit-raised, Asheville-based artist pairs a goddess-inspired new single with a milestone in her software-development work.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - EntSun -- Following a weekend of record-setting rainfall and flooding across parts of Western North Carolina, independent artist and producer KayeDinero is releasing "Hathor-Sekhmet," a new single inspired by the tension and balance of opposing forces.
The release arrives alongside a professional milestone. On Friday, KayeDinero received confirmation that her copyright application for Pipeline Developer Analytics, a computer program she developed, had cleared a key stage. She expects the official certificate in approximately four to six weeks.
The storm brought record-setting rainfall to Asheville, with flooding and landslides affecting parts of the surrounding region. Against that backdrop, "Hathor-Sekhmet" introduces a different kind of contrast: the coexistence of tenderness and power, beauty and intensity, creation and destruction.
Drawing on the ancient Egyptian goddesses Hathor and Sekhmet, the single explores two distinct but interconnected symbolic forces. Hathor is associated with love, music, joy and beauty; Sekhmet with fierce power, war and destruction, as well as healing. Together, their names frame a creative idea that refuses to reduce opposing energies to a simple choice between one side and the other.

The track arrives after a long weekend of work to bring the release across the finish line. It also reflects the wider creative practice behind KayeDinero, whose work spans original music, software development, financial analytics, writing, independent media and aerial visual storytelling.
"I'm drawn to the point where opposite energies meet," KayeDinero said. "I work across music and technology because I like taking an idea that starts in the mind and giving it a form people can experience—whether they hear it, see it, or use it."
For KayeDinero, the music and software are different expressions of the same multidisciplinary approach: developing an idea, building it with intention and bringing it into the world. The new single adds another chapter to a growing catalog while the Pipeline Developer Analytics application marks a separate milestone in her technology work.
