Afni, Inc. Data Breach Exposes Personal Information of 261,449 Customers: Murphy Law Firm Investigates

("Afni"), a debt collection agency. On June 7, 2021, Afni detected suspicious activity on its computer network. Following a forensic investigation, Afni determined that on or before June 7, 2021 cybercriminals had gained unauthorized access to its systems, including files containing confidential customer information. Based on the investigation, Afni confirmed that cybercriminals potentially accessed and acquired the personal information of 261,449 customers, including:

• Dates of birth
• Addresses
