Yahman Dennie releases song featuring PJ Dakota

JAMAICA, N.Y. - EntSun -- A few years back Yahman Dennie went in to the studio and worked with a female artist from the Flint Michigan area, Pj Dakota. Pj was known to everyone in the Flint area who created, wrote and recorded music along with other parts of the world. The song they worked on was titled "Body Wax". It had a vibe to it of caribbean hip hop.
Just recently we lost a dear friend and artist in the music industry due to an illness. PJ got sick early in 2024 and continued to go down hill until just this last week when she passed away.
Yahman had forgotten about the song, "Body Wax" and was going through emails, pictures and boom, there it was, his recording with Pj Dakota. He wanted to release the song that week in memory of Pj.

Pj will be missed by so many artists, and her fans. She worked with everyone and never had a bad word for anyone.
Yahman gained a distribution deal through Sony Orchard at one time during his career through Patti and a co-worker of hers.

Yahman whom is a caribbean hip hop artist has a fan base of his own and currently working on new music to place on platforms to stream and purchase. Yahman is from Kingston Jamaica and moved to the states around 30 years ago. Yahman shares with us that he though a lot of PJ Dakota and respected her knowledge on the industry. Loved working with PJ Dakota over the years.
