Wildflower Mountain Ranch Opens a New Chapter of Healing for Adolescent Girls in Utah
EntSun News/11098314
Relationship-centered nonprofit combines neuroscience, trauma-informed care, experiential learning, and family support to help adolescent girls rediscover hope, resilience, and lasting healing.
EDEN, Utah - EntSun -- HOOPER, Utah – Wildflower Mountain Ranch, a nonprofit organization serving adolescent girls, is introducing a relationship-centered approach to healing that combines neuroscience, trauma-informed care, experiential learning, and family involvement in a peaceful ranch setting.
As anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional challenges among youth continue to rise, Wildflower was created to provide a safe place where girls are seen, heard, and supported as they build confidence, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and life skills.
"Our philosophy begins with a simple question," said Lacy Rasmussen, Program Director of Wildflower Mountain Ranch. "Instead of asking, 'What's wrong with you?' we ask, 'What happened to you, and how can we help you heal?' That shift changes everything."

Wildflower integrates neuroscience education, mindfulness, DBT skills, trauma-informed principles, attachment-focused care, experiential learning, and family support to help girls understand their minds, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. Through meaningful connections with people, animals, nature, and education, the program empowers young women to build resilience and brighter futures.
Working alongside MindShift Connections, founded by Lacy Rasmussen, Wildflower shares a mission of helping individuals, families, and communities understand the brain, strengthen relationships, and create lasting transformation through compassionate, evidence-informed care.
"Our vision is to help every girl discover that her story does not define her future," Rasmussen said. "Healing begins with connection, and hope grows when someone believes in you."
