Wellness on the Go! Workshop Expands across Florida's East Coast

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - EntSun -- Community Success Coach and #1 bestselling author Lisa Ullven is expanding the reach of her increasingly in-demand Wellness on the Go! Workshop, delivering in-person trainings across Florida's East Coast, including stops in Fort Pierce, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.

The workshops come amid growing demand from public-sector and community organizations seeking practical tools to support employees working in high-stress environments. Less than five months ago, Ullven trained representatives from more than 15 organizations during a sold-out Wellness on the Go! event at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center through a collaboration with the State of Florida, St. Petersburg College's Center for Public Safety Innovation, Guided Results, and Communities Connected for Kids.

This latest round of training was requested by leadership within Florida Department of Children & Families Adult Protective Services to help staff navigate the emotionally demanding situations they face daily. Participants included Human Services Counselors, Adult Protective Investigators, supervisors, and administrative professionals.

Although a virtual option was offered, department leadership and staff agreed that in-person delivery provided greater connection and impact. Several participants personally thanked Ullven for traveling to conduct the training onsite. Interest has already been expressed by additional departments, including Child Protective Services, for future sessions.

The two-hour Wellness on the Go! workshop is a condensed version of Ullven's original 16-hour curriculum, which was first developed to support hurricane survivors in need of immediate, accessible wellness strategies. Participants noted that the abbreviated format was both effective and realistic given the demands of their roles.

During the workshop, attendees created a personalized Wellness Card, Portable Toolbox, and a pocket-sized WRAP® (Wellness Recovery Action Plan®) designed for everyday use. Ullven said success is measured by how easily participants can apply and share the tools beyond the workplace.
