ValuQ Expands Beyond Pilot Town as Agents Sign Up Across England and Wales

LONDON - EntSun -- ValuQ (valuq.co.uk), the UK property technology platform that gives homeowners free, side-by-side property valuations from competing local estate agents, now has registered agents covering 43 postcode districts across southern England and Wales.

The platform launched its pilot in Basildon, Essex in April 2026. Estate agents have since registered in areas including London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Somerset and South Wales. Coverage is published on a live map at valuq.co.uk/for-agents, which updates as agents join.

ValuQ Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17240955, with its registered office in Covent Garden, London. Basildon is the pilot launch market rather than the company’s base.

"We started in Basildon because I know that market and I wanted the first version tested by people who would tell me the truth," said founder Evren Ergin. "The agents registering now are in towns I never pitched. That tells me the problem is the same everywhere."

Homeowners submit their property details and photos once. Local estate agents receive an anonymous brief and respond with their valuation, their fee and their proposed approach, usually within 48 hours. The homeowner sees every response on one screen, then decides who to speak to, or nobody at all.

No name, phone number, email address or full address reaches any agent until the seller chooses to connect. Valuations come from local estate agents who know the street. ValuQ does not produce an automated estimate.

ValuQ is free for homeowners, always. Estate agents register free at agents.valuq.co.uk and only pay when they win their first instruction through the platform.

"Agents should win instructions on the quality of their valuation and their fee, not on who reaches the seller first," said Ergin. "A family-run agency and a chain branch compete on the same field."
