Update: Columbia Police respond to active assailant on North Stadium Boulevard

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection to the recent active assailant incident on North Stadium Boulevard. According to authorities, a 17-year-old male from Columbia has been taken into custody and is facing multiple charges.
The juvenile suspect has been charged with three counts of assault in the first degree, property damage in the first degree, vehicle hijacking, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action. The Columbia Police Department would like to extend their gratitude to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their assistance in both the investigation and apprehension of the suspect.
