UK Innovation on the Global Stage – High5VR at MWC Barcelona
EntSun News/11086814
CAMBRIDGE, U.K. - EntSun -- This year Mobile World Congress in Barcelona once again brought together some of the biggest technology companies in the world. With over 100,000 attendees, the event is widely regarded as one of the most important global gatherings for technology, innovation and future digital infrastructure.
For High5VR, it was a proud moment to represent UK technology on the international stage. The company was invited to attend by Alibaba Cloud, giving the team a fantastic opportunity to connect with global innovators and showcase the work being developed in the UK.
Over the four days, the High5VR team had the chance to meet technology leaders, AI developers, robotics companies and global cloud providers. Walking the halls of MWC meant quite literally rubbing shoulders with industry giants, exchanging ideas and exploring how emerging technologies are shaping the future.
One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to showcase High5VR's new immersive collaboration platform, OowOah VR meeting platform. Designed to transform the way businesses meet and collaborate remotely, OowOah brings people together in a fully immersive virtual environment where meetings can feel far more natural, interactive and engaging than traditional video calls.

The platform attracted significant interest during discussions at the event and certainly turned a few heads, demonstrating how immersive technologies are beginning to redefine the way organisations connect and work together across the world.
Events like MWC are not just about seeing the latest technology; they are about building partnerships and understanding the direction the industry is moving. For High5VR, the experience reinforced how quickly immersive technology, artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure are converging to create entirely new ways of working.
Bringing those insights back to the UK is incredibly valuable. It helps ensure that British technology companies remain at the forefront of innovation while continuing to build global partnerships.
High5VR returned from Barcelona energised by the possibilities ahead and excited to continue developing immersive technologies that will shape the future of collaboration, training and digital experiences.
