TULSA, Okla. - EntSun -- Tulsa Air and Space Museum (TASM) is excited to host WARBIRD WEEKEND, Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, featuring vintage military aircraft from the Commemorative Air Force (CAF). Ground and flight deck tours are included with ticket price, providing a chance to interact with WWII era airplanes including B-24 Liberator "Diamond Lil", C-45 Twin Beech "Bucket of Bolts", P-51 Mustang "Gunfighter", T-6 Texan "Nella", and T-34 Mentor. Same day museum admission to TASM is included. Flights are also available on many of the aircraft for an additional fee, offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of World War II aviation history. Historic military vehicles will also be on display.
Media Day activities will take place on Thursday, September 28 beginning at 1pm. Museum staff and aircraft crew will be available for interviews in addition to aircraft tours. Weather permitting, media flight(s) will be available on one or more aircraft at 2pm.
