TLF Nonprofit Receives 1,000th Proclamation For Celebration of "Global Love Day" for May 1

ORLANDO, Fla. - EntSun -- Orlando, Florida based nonprofit, The Love Foundation (TLF), reached a new milestone for its Global Love Day initiative when it received its 1,000th official proclamation this week. The most recent came from the Connecticut Governor and is one of 39 new 2026 proclamations from governors, mayors, councils and officials received so far this year.

Since the initial launch of Global Love Day in 2004, The Love Foundation has acknowledged responses from individuals and organizations in over 175 countries along with the now over 1,000 cumulative proclamations from over 300 cities in the US, Canada and UK, along with 30 US Governors, and even His Holiness The Dalai Lama choosing to honor this vision.

TLF Founder, Harold W. Becker, states, "This day honors our collective humanity and the power of love within each individual. I believe this amazing response from so many diverse elected leaders indicates we are ready to embrace greater peace, compassion, and unity in our world."
