~ Tacoma's Equity in Contracting Program, in partnership with local financial institutions, is hosting an interactive workshop called "Capital Ready: Preparing Businesses for Growth in Public Contracting." The event aims to assist small businesses in understanding their financing options and building relationships with capital providers in the Tacoma area.
Scheduled for August 26, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Edison Square on South Tacoma Way, the workshop will feature a panel discussion and networking opportunities. Moderated by Scott Lundt, co-owner of LED Trail, a clean energy solutions firm, the panel will include representatives from both local and national banking institutions.
