Summer Art Camps Registration Underway at The Center for Contemporary Art
EntSun News/11048757
BEDMINSTER, N.J. - EntSun -- Registration is underway for Summer Art Camps at The Center for Contemporary Art. Eleven weekly in person Summer Art Camps, from June 16 – August 29, are offered for children ages 5-15. The Center's Summer Art Camps are designed to stimulate creative expression through projects and fun activities that change each week. All sessions are led by professional and creative teaching artists. Small classes, daily sanitizing and other protocols are in place and enforced to keep your child safe
Parents love The Center's art camps because their children develop important artistic techniques and learn about the principles of visual art, historical periods, and well-known artists. Comments from parents of past campers include: "My daughter had such a wonderful experience at the camp. The teacher and helpers were wonderful!" "Excellent camp and awesome teacher! The kids did such wonderful projects." "Great instructor. Well organized. Good planning for age group. Highly sensory."
Each week children ages 5-8 and 9-11 will spend the morning exploring drawing, painting, collage and other mixed media projects, and pottery in the ceramics studio. In the afternoon, campers ages 9-11 will explore a wide range of subjects in depth such as drawing, painting, pottery, jewelry/metalworking, cartooning, manga/anime and more.
