EntSun News/10877657
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - EntSun -- In celebration of Mother's Day, Shangri-La Springs, the historic property in downtown Bonita Springs celebrating 100 years, will offer a garden tour and tea on Tuesday, May 11 at 2 p.m.
The event will start with an educational tour of the garden focusing on tea-specific plants, followed by a tea party with socially distanced tables in the property's patio. Light bites and tea will be offered along with a discussion and question and answer by Shangri-La Springs organic gardener Cecelia Morales about various tea plants. Guests are invited to enjoy social time at the tables, meditation or a walk around the landscaped property. In keeping with the resort's zero-waste goals, each guest will receive a reusable branded tea mug.
"Offering an organic tea party aligns perfectly with the property's long-standing goals of promoting healthy and sustainable living," said Lee Bellamy, Shangri-La Springs general manager. "Tea is known to boost your immune system and fight off inflammation and can have a lasting impact on wellness. This is an opportunity for people, especially moms and mother figures in our lives, to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces."

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $30 per person, including the tea mug. The event is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. For information or to register, call 239-949-0749.
