Entries are reviewed to evaluate distinction in marketing, communications, and creative work, and are scored on a 10-point scale by the jurors. Award of Excellence winners receive a score of 9 or above, and Award of Distinction winners receive a score of 7 to 8.9.

The Town of Prescott Valley website earned a score high enough to receive an Award of Excellence in the global competition.
